The Carver Crew meets the California Spring time at its best. I had a great time meeting up with this family of 6 to get a photo for their website www.HansonOverhead.com

Beauty of the spring time in Sonoma County
May 9, 2010T and her girls | Windsor Family Photographer
April 11, 2010Finally I have a moment to sit down and update my blog again. A few weeks ago I got a chance to head out to a gorgeous private property for a couple family sessions in the vineyards while the mustard fields were blooming. With all the natural beauty that NorCal has to offer I don’t think I will ever get tired of living here or what the changing seasons have to offer.
It was a fun afternoon playing with the kids and experimenting with light. This girl just cracks me up. There is never a dull moment when she is around and I love how her personality shines through in each and every session we have together.
First try she is being a goof LOL
Second try is her attempt to listen to mom and be serious…
And since our session was all about the girls, I couldn’t forget one of T.
Beautiful Fall Vineyards | Sebastopol Family Photographer
December 29, 2009My absolute favorite time of year is the Fall. I love watching the vineyards change colors from green to lovely shades of yellow and burgundy. Sadly the change happens so quickly that waiting just a couple weeks to even a couple days you can miss all the beautiful colors.
A few weeks ago I got to meet up with the S family right when the fall colors were at their finest in beautiful Sonoma County. Momma is due with their 3rd child in just a few short days (a week to be exact) though I know she is secretly hoping he/she arrives sooner then that.

Beautiful Sonoma County Fall Colors
November 10, 2008I just love this time of year. The leaves are changing and everywhere I look there are the beautiful fall colors. I think my favorite change is seeing the vineyards change from green to yellow and then to an awesome shade of burgundy. I can not express how much I love driving around town just so I can see all the awesome colors.
I grew up seeing the vineyards from the road but never have I had a chance to walk through the actual vineyards themselves. That alone was such an awesome experience. I never knew that the vines can be so high. Recently I had a session in the heart of the wine country. Just at the end of this family’s driveway are some of the most beautiful and colorful vineyards so we took a stroll with their dog to take some family portraits.

Little M has the sweetest smile. Seeing the special bond she has with her daddy I can not help but to think of my daughters.

C was having a grand time playing in a pile of black rubble which is was is left of a recently paved road.

As the sun started to set there was this awesome yellow glow. I love this time of day.

I just love this photo; its such a sweet and tender moment with his mom.
