♥ ♥ I can not express enough now much I love what I do. ♥ ♥
Yesterday I met up with the most amazing family for brother and sister high school senior sessions. We headed down to the Marin Headland bunkers and had an incredible time. The setting was perfect setting and I had complete artistic freedom. This session rocked!!! I came home so excited that I just had to get a few photos up for a preview before going to bed. I am so looking forward to meeting with the family tomorrow for their session preview.
Here are a couple of my favs from our session.

I just can’t get over how big my babies are getting. I swear kids just grow up way too fast!!! I’m finally getting a chance to share a few photos from a session I did last month down at Railroad Square in Santa Rosa with my own girls. This is something I look forward to doing around their birthdays which lucky for me allows for sessions 3 times a year and its so neat seeing how much they have changed from the year before. Considering I am photographer you would think my walls are filled with recent photos of my own girls but sadly photos get taken and never printed. This year however I couldn’t resist and finally I have updated/recent photos hanging on my walls.
My oldest started Jr High/Middle school this year. Already I can see she is loosing that little girl look and is becoming a teenager.

*sniff sniff* She is looking so grown up

I just love this shot of my youngest. Its a face she makes all the time but this was the first time I have been lucky enough to capture it.
I can’t help but to smile every time I see this.

Finally I am catching up on the last few sessions of 2009. Mid Dec I met up with my friend Z just a couple weeks before she gave birth to her two precious baby girls. She was up for just about anything so we got a chance to explore several new places in Santa Rosa which makes for a bit of a preview blog overload. Luckily it wasn’t raining and the lighting was fantastic
I think I might start loving overcast skies.
I just gotta start with my absolute favorite. How cute is she? I couldn’t help but to notice and make use of the little sign next to the tracks.

For our session we started next to one of the mural fences here in Santa Rosa. I have been wanting to come down and use these for sometime now and I was so please that her choice of clothing for her session seemed to match so perfectly.

I love these. For the next set we made our way down to a private vacant lot near by. I had no idea this wooded area was here and luckily we were able to take advantage of the natural beauty before the “No Trespassing” signs were posted. It was such a perfect location for her too.

Now keep in mind this session was back in mid Dec in between our many bouts of rain. Z was a trooper though and was even willing to bare it all in the cold for her photos.

At the end of our session the babies decided to finally wake up. It was so cute to watch Z play with the babies as the wiggled around.

Z thanks for the fun afternoon and exploring with me.

Another preview from my recent set of mini sessions around historic Petaluma. This gorgeous little girl happens to be friends with the two adorable brothers I posted yesterday. She was such a doll and lovely to photograph. So many of her expressions and poses were just things that came naturally without any direction from me.

I fell in love with this last photo the moment I saw it after I took it. Thank you so much for coming down and it was an absolute pleasure to meet you.
