I have had the pleasure of watching this handsome little guy grow up and photograph him for several years now. Earlier this week I met up with him and his mom at the Sonoma County Fair here in Santa Rosa. All the bright colors made for a super fun backdrop and I couldn’t help but to be very excited to have Kail’s birthday session there. Here are a few of my favorites.
Another new life that I have been blessed to share with this beautiful first time momma. Just a few weeks before her due date, I met up with Melissa for her maternity session starting in her home and then heading over to my favorite creek for an outdoor session. The lighting was amazing and we had a ton of fun.
A few months ago I met with this beautiful lady for a session on her property that she wanted to do as a surprise for her boyfriend. Today is his birthday and they just celebrated their anniversary so as a special request we saved these photos especially to share on this special day.
When she suggested we shoot in her backyard I really didn’t know what to expect. Turned out to be an amazing location complete with barns, open fields and huge tractor tires. Loved it!!! Here are a few of our favorites.
I met up with this sweet little girl the day after I got back from my vacation this last July. She was my first session after I got home and I have been going non-stop since then.
When I was little I used to live in St. Helena and after I moved to Los Angeles I used to come up every summer to see my dad. Even now that I have moved back to NorCal, St. Helena still feels like home. My session with this precious little girl was the first one where I got to use my “home town” as the backdrop and it was so much fun. I just couldn’t get enough of this little cutie pie’s amazing blue eyes and her little giggles.
I absolutely adore these little bloomers. Makes me wish my youngest was still little so I could get her some.

I’m finally able to sit down to catch up a little on the blog and share one of the weddings from this summer. Last month Cathy + Bobby were married at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek nearly one year after their friends Mary + Joe whose wedding I photographed last summer at the same location. I was very lucky to have my friend Chris Poese fly in from Las Vegas to shoot this wedding with me and he did an amazing job. We made a great team.
I had an absolute blast shooting Cathy + Bobby’s wedding. They were were such a fun couple and the guest were wonderful. This was the largest wedding I have shot to date and we all had a ton of fun.

This summer the owner for Munchkin Things & Strings sent over a box full of the most adorable bows and hair flowers that she needed to be photographed. I took my 4 favorite girls down to St. Helena for a model photoshoot and they ended up having a ton of fun trying on the bows and flowers.

Today I had a great time with Cathy and Bobby for their engagement session down in Petaluma. When we left Santa Rosa the skies where looking pretty gloomy but I have to say that by the end of our session I am really loving them. After downloading the photos I just couldn’t resist the urge to share one photo for Cathy and Bobby. I thought it was cute when Bobby saw this photo in particular his first reply was “Sweet!” I am really looking forward to their wedding in Aug.
