Not to long ago I got a chance to meet a sweet little boy and his new family. This little guy was all smiles and just loved showing off his mad light saber skills with any stick he could find. His brother and sister just loved climbing all the trees they could find and at the end of our session together everyone was in the tree for one last family photo.

I am so proud to say that I am a member of this organization. Last year I had the pleasure to meet one beautiful little girl and her awesome new mommy for my very first CA session.

Just for fun I was asked to come take some candid shots of Alexis and her buddy Shadow. Back in June I got a chance to see Alexis and Shadow together for the first time at the Napa Valley Equestrian Center for one of her shows so it was really neat to be able to see where she goes to practice.

Shadow wasn’t in the mood to play at all which I thought was pretty funny. Here are a few shots that I did get that I liked.

Idylwild Farms

August 20, 2008

Last Sunday my friends daughter was in her second horse show at Idylwild Farms. Being a city girl I have never been to one of these things so it was so much fun being asked to come and photograph such as awesome event. I had a great time and Alexis did so great.

She is so serious as she focused while riding but…

Happily smiles with excitement when its over. She competed against adults and won the 2nd place :D Now how cool is that?

You can see the anticipation in her face as she waits for her turn on a new horse.

This was her last jump and she finished like a champ.

I think Fall is coming early in Sonoma County. There was overcast skies and a heavy mist all morning.

Today this fun little guy told me that taking photos was BORING. I couldn’t help but to laugh and do everything I could think of the make our afternoon fun. Today’s family session was over at Luther Burbank Gardens and this photo was taken just after he told me this was boring LOL I had so much fun with this little guy. He showed me all his super hero moves and we were laughing so much. Thanks for a great time Cody.

This is the first session in a series that I have decided to call “Be Inspired” I have always wanted to take some artistic photos in a cemetery so the first session took place in a local cemetery which is really old. Many head stones were from the 1800s.

This is Trianna. She is just 5 years old but is my star model. When her father saw this photo he cried. I have never had that happen before but from what I have been told it was a good kind of cry.

This looks like it could have been taken back after WWII or something

We found this door hidden behind a bunch of ivy. Kind of reminds me of the Secret Garden

Hum not sure what to say about this other then the anarchy symbol is a perfect match
