Our first session was to show her softer more intimate side so we started with her boudoir photos in a studio style setting.

Our next session took us to my favorite creek for Marilyn Monroe inspired session with a touch of fashion and nature.

And finally we headed out to the Santa Rosa bunkers for the vixen, kick ass and urban style photos.

This by far is one of the funnest boudoir style sessions I have had the opportunity to work on. I am honored that Desa allowed me to share this special day with her and she was so open to new ideas. It was quite the adventure and I’d love to do something like this again.

Desa, I hope you have a fabulous birthday today. Thank you again for allowing me to share some of your amazing photos publicly on the blog. You were an absolute joy to work with and I have enjoyed getting to know you over the last couple months.

Recently (or not so recently, maybe a few months ago) I found out about the Santa Rosa bunkers from a flickr friend of mine. I have always wanted to go there for a photo session but was saving it for the right client that fit the location. When my friend asked me to take some boudoir photos of her I couldn’t resisted the opportunity for an adventure which turned out to be a dream come true. Not only was the location perfect but the results are absolutely stunning.

Its not often I get a session where I have complete artistic freedom and then get to show off the results of my work. I am truly blessed that I have an amazing friend who let not only let me take some amazing boudoir photos of her but also let me share a few of them publicly.

This one took my breath away. Its very sexy without showing too much. I tell ya I have the best clients.

I have to give huge Kudos to two awesome ladies who came down to help. Laura for her amazing makeup. I have been a fan of her artistic talent for way over a year now. And my friend Sarah who did a fabulous job on hair. You can betcha that I will be calling on these ladies again for my next boudoir session. Thanks again!!!

While on my trip down to Los Angeles, Ca a few weeks ago I got the opportunity to have my first boudoir session. I am extremely fortunate that a very good friend of mine was able to join me and knows an incredible make-up artist who was available to come on down for our session.

I had a great time working with these ladies and think the images came out incredible. My client looks absolutely gorgeous!

I am so excited and looking forward to doing this again in a few weeks. Here is a photo from the session my client said was okay to share. This was exactly what I set out to capture and I think I nailed it
