I took a trip out to Sonoma to meet this sweet precious little girl when she was just a wee 11 days old. Her mom and I had been in contact for months before she was born so when I got the message she finally arrived you can imagine how excited I was to finally meet her.

December 29, 2011Fall Mini Session
December 29, 2011I love repeat clients, especially the ones that come back year after year. For the 3rd year in a row I have had the pleasure of photographing this cute family and I am always amazing how much these little ones have changed.
Sweet little Ellie came up from the East Bay for her 4 month old photos while visiting with Grandma.
50th Wedding Anniversary ~ Part 2 | Santa Rosa Family Photographer | Becka Lynn Photography
December 18, 2011I have been purposely saving this session to bring some yummy sunshine on a gloomy day.
It appears winter is officially here in the North Bay and its really starting to get chilly.
Over the summer I meet a wonderful family who all got together for a weekend to celebrate their parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary.
The family rented this gorgeous house in the hills around Larkspur Santa Rosa that had the most beautiful backdrop.
We couldn’t have asked or planned for more perfect of a day with some of the yummiest sunlight I have seen all year.
I’ve always enjoyed photographing large family gatherings. I don’t know what it is about it in particular but there is something to be said
when you get parents, children and grandchildren all together in one place especially when its for such a specially occasion like an anniversary.
Everyone was a joy to work with and such a wonderful family.
The Happy Couple who clearly are still in love ♥
The kids
Grandma and the girls
Grandpa and the boys
Just the kids
My favorites of the grandkids. They were all so photogenic
And a few more of my favorites
Time to catch up
December 12, 2011My poor blog has been so neglected these last few months. The holiday busy season kicked off to a fun start at the end of October when I was asked to play paparazzi and represent the American Music Awards and Coke for an event here in town. My friend Morgan of Move Photography was so kind to come help and we had a blast.
I generally hate being in front of the camera which would explain why I am always behind it. LOL I do like this shot though. Even got to keep the shirt too
I have been working non-stop all through October and November with at least 4 more sessions left in 2011.
I am so happy this year is ended on such a positive note and I am as busy as I am. Love to you all ♥

50th Wedding Anniversary | Becka Lynn Photography
November 17, 2011One of my favorite things about what I do is having the special opportunity to capture all the special moments in life from birth, through all the stages of childhood, new relationships, weddings, the start of a new life with expectant moms, large family gatherings and 50th wedding anniversaries.
A photo speaks a thousand words and the love between these two is priceless.
A beautiful location in the mountains of Santa Rosa, perfect lighting and an adorable couple made for a perfect session.
Model: Ashley | Sonoma County Model Photographer
October 17, 2011Another gorgeous model and another new location!!! I had so much fun working with Ashley as we went exploring though an old abandoned building here in Santa Rosa.
A couple weeks ago I stumbled across this place by accident and we were super lucky to have an opportunity to check it out. The lighting was perfect.
What was supposed to be a short 1hr session turned into 3hrs and so much more than we ever planned. Thanks again for being so adventurous Ashley!!!
Remember Steph and Matt? Just last month I went to San Francisco with them to take their “wedding photos” at some of their favorite places in the city. As part of their wedding celebration ceremony these two love birds decided to have a wedding vow renewal at the start of their gorgeous formal party at the Il Fornaio in Corte Madera. This was a first for me and it what can I say, I am a total mushy sap who loved it. I thought it was such a special way to share their love for one another with their family.
Over the last few months I was lucky enough to hear about all the plans Steph had planned for her party but seeing it in person just totally blew me away. She has a natural eye for this kind of thing and really should have a wedding planning business of her own. I know I would hire her. Everything looked beautiful.
While waiting for lunch to be served, Steph and Matt’s son was have so much fun playing with bubbles. Gotta love the simple life =)
