These two are just too adorable.

Last set from the Mini sessions in historic Petaluma. Baby Sophia just celebrated her first birthday just a few weeks ago. Time sure goes by fast. I can’t believe she is already one. Our journey together began when I got together with her mom for her maternity photos while she got a henna tattoo. Then exactly one year ago (to the day) I got to take this precious girl’s newborn photos. I would like to say we planned it that way but I didn’t realize it until tonight that her photos were taken exactly one year apart. Talk about perfect timing.
This little girl has so much personality and an absolute joy to be around. She is such a sweet heart and check out those awesome eye lashes.

Oh and check out this little pouty face.

Makes you wonder how HUGE a simple flight of stairs looks to a baby.

Hanging onto daddy for support.

Ready, Set, Go!

I love this photo. You can clearly see the special bond this little girl has with her daddy. Awww

Thanks again to daddy for bringing her out for her bday pics. I had a great time and it was so nice to hang out with this baby girl for a little while.
Once again I got a chance to hang out with this precious little girl. For our first session we took a trip down to the Sonoma Horticultural Gardens and this time I got to visit her at home. She has grown so much in just a few weeks and this time she really let her personality shine. I love it when I get a chance to photograph babies. I am able to get my baby fix without having another. Its the best of both worlds.
This precious girl did so good. Of course like any baby she fussed a bit when she got hungry or when we moved her too much but for the most part she was all smiles.
Momma had a great idea to get a shot of Lana buried under all her friends on her bed like ET did. To me it looks more like where’s waldo, Lana style. As you can see she is oh so happy.

Momma wanted a few photos of Lana showing off her little dress.

In 3 months I plan on going back and taking another photo of her on this same bed to see how she measures up. Too Cute!

Does a baby smile get any cuter that this? She loves her momma. If you look closely you could see her long eye lashes.

This one is my favorite!!!

Momma bought these angel wings especially for Lana. We took a set of photos at the nursery but this time we were able to get this now sleepy baby in black and white. I love all her little baby chub!

It seems lately my blog previews are a little larger than usual. What can I say, I really have been loving my sessions too much that is hard not to want to go overboard.
I absolutely love it when I get a chance to have an outdoor newborn session which is almost equally exciting as checking out a new location. Our session took place at what has become my new favorite location, the Sonoma Horticultural Nursery.
Baby Lana is just 7 weeks old and I know her parents are anxiously awaiting to see a preview of thier session.
Already it was clear to see the special bond between daddy and his baby girl. One day daddy will look back and remember how tiny his precious girl used to be.

The secret garden

As snug as a lady bug

This bumble bee set is something my mom made for me on mother’s day.

Back in May I had a session with her big brother Gianni, then a maternity session in August and its Gemma’s turn. This precious little one is just 3 months old and proudly wore the same dresses her mommy did when she was a baby. She is such a sweet heart and I couldn’t help but to take a ton of photos of her.

She fell asleep right after her outfit change. I think she looks like a little doll and so perfect.

And this one just cracks me up. Gianni didn’t want to take a photo with his sister and the expression on Gemma is priceless.

I can’t believe this precious little angel is 6 months old already. I just doesn’t seem like it has been that long since I took her mommy’s maternity photos. This is my favorite photo from our preview mini session.

This is little Isabelle. She is a little cutie ans was so good for me. At first she couldn’t figure out if she wanted to smile or hide but once we got a chance to play a little we had a lot of fun. Here is a little preview for mom

Meet little Sophia. She was born on the exact same day as my second daughter. That is what I call a great birthday
This is my first newborn session completely outside but luckily her mom and grandmother were adventurous. I will post a few more later but here is a little preview.

Here are a couple more from yesterday. These are some wild flowers in the court yard at the Petaluma Outlets. Who would have thought a place to go shopping would be a nice place to take a few photos of this little one.
