Another new life that I have been blessed to share with this beautiful first time momma. Just a few weeks before her due date, I met up with Melissa for her maternity session starting in her home and then heading over to my favorite creek for an outdoor session. The lighting was amazing and we had a ton of fun.

Finally I am getting a chance to catch up a little on my blog posts. With all the craziness that comes with going on a long vacation I just now taking a break to share Clare’s gorgeous photos. We got together just weeks before her precious baby girl was born. Doesn’t she look beautiful?
Her hubby came down to get in a few photos too. They are such a good looking couple.

Expecting Twin Girls | Santa Rosa Maternity Photographer
March 17, 2010Finally I am catching up on the last few sessions of 2009. Mid Dec I met up with my friend Z just a couple weeks before she gave birth to her two precious baby girls. She was up for just about anything so we got a chance to explore several new places in Santa Rosa which makes for a bit of a preview blog overload. Luckily it wasn’t raining and the lighting was fantastic
I think I might start loving overcast skies.
I just gotta start with my absolute favorite. How cute is she? I couldn’t help but to notice and make use of the little sign next to the tracks.
For our session we started next to one of the mural fences here in Santa Rosa. I have been wanting to come down and use these for sometime now and I was so please that her choice of clothing for her session seemed to match so perfectly.
I love these. For the next set we made our way down to a private vacant lot near by. I had no idea this wooded area was here and luckily we were able to take advantage of the natural beauty before the “No Trespassing” signs were posted. It was such a perfect location for her too.
Now keep in mind this session was back in mid Dec in between our many bouts of rain. Z was a trooper though and was even willing to bare it all in the cold for her photos.
At the end of our session the babies decided to finally wake up. It was so cute to watch Z play with the babies as the wiggled around.
Z thanks for the fun afternoon and exploring with me.
ABC and 123 | Santa Rosa Maternity Photographer
February 6, 2010Every new life is a blessing and how awesome is it to be expecting 3 little ones. On a chilly afternoon while there was a slight break in the rain I had a chance to meet with wonderful couple for an urban style maternity session in Railroad Square in Santa Rosa. Luckily the rain decided to stay away just long enough for us to have our session but the wind made it quite chilly.
Thanks for the wonderful time and congratulations again on your 3 tiny miracles.
Another baby on the way | Santa Rosa Maternity Photographer
January 17, 2010Aw I have been looking forward to posting this recent maternity session but due to the craziness around here the blog post has been a bit delayed. We got together just before the holidays for a special in home session. Today as this little one is officially due so I anxiously await word that she has arrived. I love my job!!!
This shot by far is my favorite. Big sister is so excited about baby coming and it didn’t take much convincing to get her to give baby loves.

I remember when I finished this session I thought to myself, “I wonder if I got anything wow worthy” I am my own worst critic which sometimes means I have been know to leave a session wondering if I captured what I set out to do. I will be honest and say that I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got a chance to look through the session photos and found myself in love with so many.
Beautiful Fall Vineyards | Sebastopol Family Photographer
December 29, 2009My absolute favorite time of year is the Fall. I love watching the vineyards change colors from green to lovely shades of yellow and burgundy. Sadly the change happens so quickly that waiting just a couple weeks to even a couple days you can miss all the beautiful colors.
A few weeks ago I got to meet up with the S family right when the fall colors were at their finest in beautiful Sonoma County. Momma is due with their 3rd child in just a few short days (a week to be exact) though I know she is secretly hoping he/she arrives sooner then that.

Here is their custom designed family holiday card
Part 1: Simply Gorgeous Baby Bump | Sebastopol Maternity Photographer
November 14, 2009I love this time of year and all the lovely colors of Sonoma County. The leaves are changing everywhere and the country side just absolutely gorgeous. My favorite is when the vines turn burgundy and I was fortunate to capture them this year in a few of my sessions this season.
Back in June a friend of mine surprised me with the news she was expecting. Recently I got a chance to see her and her perfect adorable belly. It wont be long before this little guy is born.

Momma is glowing and she has the cutest belly bump.

Maternity Mini Session and Invitation
October 20, 2009Recently I met with this beautiful momma for a mini maternity session so we could get a photo for her baby shower invitations. The end result is in my opinion absolutely gorgeous (and the invitations is pretty too)

Last week I had a second maternity session with the beautiful Kathy who just gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday. We were rushing to fit in one more session before her baby girl was scheduled to arrive and luckily we made it hapeen just in time.
Once again I had a wonderful time hanging out with Kathy. I think I am truely blessed to meet such amazing people doing something I absolutely love. Kathy had a special request to find someplace that had a field of grass which I was lucky enough to find someplace local.

Feeling a little adventurous, just 3 days before her baby was born Kathy climbed a tree. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen.

Thanks for the adventure and a wonderful afternoon. I hope you are resting well and I am looking forward to meeting that precious baby girl here soon.
