My little buddy Cole has the most infectious smile. Just a couple days before making my trip to Los Angeles I met up with Cole and his family for a session down at Point Reyes Bear Valley Trail. Despite the horrible heat we were having inland the weather was very pleasant down around Point Reyes.

This family session included Cole’s parents, uncle, grandmother, grandfather and his wife. It was a pleasure to meet some more of his family and I had a wonderful time.

Just the boys ~ 3 Generations.

Everyone got some one on one time with this little guy starting with his very loving parents.

And let us not forget my friends Whitney and Josh who also happen to be Cole’s mom and dad ;)

Thank you for such a wonderful time. One of these days I will have to head out there again and hike the rest of Bear Valley Trail. I wanna see what is at the other end :D

Unfortunately our day ended with a very sad phone call from my mom telling me that my grandpa had just passed away. I can not thank my friend Whitney enough for being there and offering comfort when I needed it most. You all are the best and I am so thankful to have friends like you.

I had so much fun with these two little guys. His mom brought them down to Petaluma for a mini session right before I left out of town. She has so patiently waited for a preview so I can’t have her wait any longer.

I think this section of Petaluma is becoming my new favorite hang out. There are great locations around every corner and what looks old and dirty to one person is beautiful to me.

I love the view from this waterfront balcony. Every time I have visited this location there are have been so many people just hanging out up there.

This little guy is just too cute. He has the most adorable smile as you can see and he loved sitting on these steps though it was making mom a little nervous.

Momma I hope you enjoyed your little preview. It was great meeting you and your adorable little guys.

Last weekend I made a trip down to Southern California for a very special engagement and family session over at Huntington Library in San Marino, California. As part of their session the happy couple requested a photo of the “new family” which includes her daughter and his two children. I had a wonderful time and it was so neat to check out a place I have never been to before even though I had lived in LA for most of my life.

I know I am editing a little out of order but this is a special rush request since “dad” will be flying out tomorrow morning to visit his BIL who is very ill. He wants to see a photo of the new family so I wanted to make sure that he had a photo to take with him. Please say a prayer for this family as they need all they can get.

A few days ago I had the pleasure to meet with tattoo artist  Scott from Santa Rosa Tattoo and his family for one awesome Urban Session in Petaluma.  There couldn’t have been a better family for one of my favorite locations. I have been trying so hard to go through all the photos but its so hard to choose just a few for a preview so be prepared for a picture overload.

For our session we headed down to one rusty old funky train that was covered in graffiti and full of character. Scott’s two older boys were climbing all over these trains like it was nothing.

I had an incredible time hanging out with you all so thanks again for coming down and checking out this cool hide away.

Happy Mother’s Day

May 10, 2009

I wanted to wish all the fabulous mother’s out there a very happy mother’s day. I hope you all are are to do something special with your children.

These 3 precious girls are the reason I am called “momma” I can’t imagine my life without them. These girls of mine keep me on my toes every day and remind me of the important things in life.

I tried so hard to get a photo with my girls but they have officially become sick of the camera. Hum I wonder why LOL Still I love this photo. It shows their personality exactly how they are every day. Luckily we got a nice shot considering I only had a chance to hit the timer twice on the camera before these girls ran off to play in the mud.

Don’t forget there are just two more days to get those votes in for the Fabulous Faces Contest.

Momma’s little guy

April 15, 2009

Sometimes mom needs a special session just with her little guy :)

Sometimes none of the ticks that i have up my sleeve work. I can try everything I can think of and still these little ones have something else on their mind. Mini Sessions make it that even harder but still it was a lot of fun. Anna was full of energy and so goofy while her brother was so skeptical wondering who this lady was with a camera in her face. It was a great day.

I couldn’t help but to include this one.

This my friends is the one who started it all :) Thanks to this beauiful momma the mini sessions was an awesome success.

Beautiful just like momma

Just over a week ago I had the pleasure to head out to a fun secret spot for some Mini Sessions in a field of California Poppies and wild flowers. I had a great time with all the kids and parents. The was weather was perfect.

First up was Brianna with her little sister Rylee and her momma.

Catching up on a few more sessions from last week. On Sunday I took a trip out to Fred Stokes Ranch in Santa Rosa/Windsor, Ca in Sonoma County. Its been a year since I have been there and still is a favorite. This time I got a chance to meet Mr. Stokes himself :)

If you have not had a chance to visit stokes ranch you really should. His has the largest oil can collection, lots of neat old cars and tractors and even an old station that was abadoned that moved to his property and restored. This is always a neat place to visit and we had a lot of fun.
