I love repeat clients, especially the ones that come back year after year. For the 3rd year in a row I have had the pleasure of photographing this cute family and I am always amazing how much these little ones have changed.

December 29, 201150th Wedding Anniversary ~ Part 2 | Santa Rosa Family Photographer | Becka Lynn Photography
December 18, 2011I have been purposely saving this session to bring some yummy sunshine on a gloomy day.
It appears winter is officially here in the North Bay and its really starting to get chilly.
Over the summer I meet a wonderful family who all got together for a weekend to celebrate their parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary.
The family rented this gorgeous house in the hills around Larkspur Santa Rosa that had the most beautiful backdrop.
We couldn’t have asked or planned for more perfect of a day with some of the yummiest sunlight I have seen all year.
I’ve always enjoyed photographing large family gatherings. I don’t know what it is about it in particular but there is something to be said
when you get parents, children and grandchildren all together in one place especially when its for such a specially occasion like an anniversary.
Everyone was a joy to work with and such a wonderful family.
The Happy Couple who clearly are still in love ♥
The kids
Grandma and the girls
Grandpa and the boys
Just the kids
My favorites of the grandkids. They were all so photogenic
And a few more of my favorites
Brothers and Sisters | Santa Rosa Family Photographer
August 19, 2011Being a big sister myself to my one and only brother I can totally relate to the special bond a brother and sister have with one another. I have been photographing this beautiful family for the last 3 years and I love seeing the change from year to year, watching these two adorable little ones grow up.
This year we decided to do something a little different since mom’s brother was in town visiting and met at Luther Burbank Gardens near downtown Santa Rosa for a brother sister shoot. It was a ton of fun and these two little one’s were having so much playing especially with Uncle =)
Here are a few of my favorites
Merry Christmas | Becka Lynn Photography
December 25, 2010A little late but better late than never. I met up with my little buddy Josh and his parents for a Christmas session. These were also Josh’s 6 monthish photos and I can’t get over how much he has grown since his newborn session.
His mom brought the cutest holiday bag
And the photo that they used for their Christmas cards. I love it!
Fall Mini Family Session | Becka Lynn Photography
December 12, 2010I finally have a moment to sit down and share another incredible family session taken over in the fountain grove area of Santa Rosa.
We had a lot of fun trekking through the poison oak and climbing on all the mossy covered rocks.

November 11, 2010I had so much fun the day I got together with Melissa and her family. She lives on the outskirts of Santa Rosa and we had the privilege of using several properties around her place. That morning had been super cloudy but luckily it all cleared up and the sun came out in time for our session.
I loved the really awesome tire swing hanging from the tree in the front yard.
Down the road a ways across the street from a little pumpkin patch was this awesome row of trees. Poor little guy was so done at this point and wanted to play and run in the trees vs stand still for a photo.
And this one just cracks me up. I will admit I’m a city girl so seeing anything on a farm is new and cool. I had kneeled down to check out this tractor/farming something or another and this little one decided to get up close and personal with my camera lens. I love the face he is making.

November 9, 2010Its always exciting when I get to work with a family again and seeing how much the kids have grown from the previous year. I couple weeks ago I met up with this family for a mini session down in the Fountain Grove area of Santa Rosa. This was a neat new location and a bit of a treasure filled with lots of fall leaves, mossy covered rocks, a creak and lots of poison oak. Luckily after trekking through for several hours no one got it and its definitely a place I’d like to visit again.
I love the special bond these two share and how well it shows in these photos.
A gift for dad | Santa Rosa Family Photographer | Becka Lynn Photography
September 7, 2010A few weeks ago I met up with M and her family for a special session she set up as a gift for her father in law this last Christmas. They were such a fun family to hang out with. Here are just a few favorites from their session.

September 1, 2010A couple days before I left out of town on vacation I met up with this gorgeous family at the beautiful Kendall Jackson Winery. It was my very first time going there and I’d have to say its so much more beautiful than I had imagined. Mom and dad wanted to have their first family photo to follow up to Baby J’s newborn session we had just a few weeks earlier. He was such a champ and even smiled for the absolutely perfect family photo. We couldn’t have planned for this even if we tried.
Clearly this little guy is adored by his parents and how can you resist this face.
Happy Father’s Day
June 20, 2010To all the dads, Happy Father’s Day!!! I hope you all are having a wonderful day.
In honor of this special day I want to share a few of the other photos taken last month from Todd and Trianna’s session; one of the photos made the cover of Sonoma Family Life Magazine and MendoLake Family Life Magazine.
If you have followed my blog over the years, you already know Trianna makes frequent appearances. Lucky for me her parents love to have her photo taken often and Trianna loves to be in front of the camera. When the opportunity came up to submit a photo for the Sonoma Family Life Magazine June Issue, I was very happy that Todd and Trianna were available for a very last minute session.
There were so many great photos I don’t think I have a personal favorite but I do have to chuckle every time I look at the “cover shot” because the smile on Todd’s face is priceless. Its a result of that special bond between father and daughter combined with wet kisses LOL
