This summer the owner for Munchkin Things & Strings sent over a box full of the most adorable bows and hair flowers that she needed to be photographed. I took my 4 favorite girls down to St. Helena for a model photoshoot and they ended up having a ton of fun trying on the bows and flowers.

Here are a few of my favorites. Check out the Becka Lynn Photography Facebook page for even more photos.

Last night my Terri stopped by and her daughter Trianna was wearing this adorable pumpkin pie hair clip. A couple days ago she showed me the clip in the super cute packaging so I was anxious to see it actually in her hair.

I snapped a couple quick photos of Trianna wearing the clip and wanted to share. Couldn’t you see this being the perfect hair clip for thanks giving dinner? Seriously its way cute. If you want one of these clips for your little girl go check out Etsy store to pre-order a pumpkin pie clip.

I had so much fun photographing with this adorable little girl again. Her mom got her all dressed up for the 4th of July and gave photos as gifts for daddy and grandpa who is a veteran.

I have had the pleasure of working with this beautiful girl for 3 years now.  Luckily her parent’s like to find any excuse to get together for photos and Trianna is always a willing model when I have projects to work on.

Its been a super crazy month and I am a little (or a lot) back logged in my blog posts but I am nearly caught up woohoo!! Back in March we headed down to one of my favorite locations for Trianna’s birthday photos. Her oh so talented mom made this awesome denim tutu skirt especially for her session and then brought balloons to match.

The Carver Crew meets the California Spring time at its best. I had a great time meeting up with this family of 6 to get a photo for their website www.HansonOverhead.com

I would have to say that Spring is definitely one of my favorite sessions especially when I see all the mustard growing in the vineyards. Here are a few of my favorites from another session taken a few weeks ago.

I just had to include this one of E playing in the puddles. I love how his shoes are on the wrong feet and there is splashes of mud on his face :)

Finally I have a moment to sit down and update my blog again. A few weeks ago I got a chance to head out to a gorgeous private property for a couple family sessions in the vineyards while the mustard fields were blooming. With all the natural beauty that NorCal has to offer I don’t think I will ever get tired of living here or what the changing seasons have to offer.

It was a fun afternoon playing with the kids and experimenting with light. This girl just cracks me up. There is never a dull moment when she is around and I love how her personality shines through in each and every session we have together.

First try she is being a goof LOL

Second try is her attempt to listen to mom and be serious…

And since our session was all about the girls, I couldn’t forget one of T.

Recently I met up with Safiya and her family who traveled all the way from Santa Cruz for our Celebrating Adoption Session. With all the rain we had been having here in the North Bay scheduling our session has been tricky. Luckily the rain decided to give way the day before we were to get together. The recent rains really got the creek roaring here in Santa Rosa and was absolutely beautiful. I had a wonderful time meeting with Safiya and her family.

This is the 3rd Celebrating Adoption Session I have done and I am so proud to say that I am a member of this organization. I encourage you to visit the website for more information by clicking the banner below if you or anyone you know is interested in a Celebrating Adoption Session.

Today’s session was down at my new favorite location in Santa Rosa. This is just a mini sneak peek preview since I really should be sleeping but I just had to share two of my favorites from today. I have been wanting to return to this creek since the shoot for Mossy Oak Lane so it was a pleasure to come back with my favorite client for her birthday session.

After a bunch of hoping and running around the creek and paths she was so done. I bet it was quite a site to see with her laying down on this rock by the creek and with me laying down across two rocks trying not to fall in the water this time LOL

Mom and Dad’s favorite from today

I have been so anxious to share these but have held off for a couple weeks until I was able to share a link back to the fabulous Miss Things Boutique. Its been raining like crazy this winter season so we have had a hard time planning a session to get out and photograph these adorable pettiskirt dresses but we managed to get a tiny break a few weeks ago. These are part of the new Punk Line over at Miss Things Boutique. Seriously how cute are these?!?!
