I love repeat clients, especially the ones that come back year after year. For the 3rd year in a row I have had the pleasure of photographing this cute family and I am always amazing how much these little ones have changed.

December 18, 2011I have been purposely saving this session to bring some yummy sunshine on a gloomy day.
It appears winter is officially here in the North Bay and its really starting to get chilly.
Over the summer I meet a wonderful family who all got together for a weekend to celebrate their parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary.
The family rented this gorgeous house in the hills around Larkspur Santa Rosa that had the most beautiful backdrop.
We couldn’t have asked or planned for more perfect of a day with some of the yummiest sunlight I have seen all year.
I’ve always enjoyed photographing large family gatherings. I don’t know what it is about it in particular but there is something to be said
when you get parents, children and grandchildren all together in one place especially when its for such a specially occasion like an anniversary.
Everyone was a joy to work with and such a wonderful family.

13 years have flown by so fast and in a blink of an eye my baby girl, my first born, is officially a teenager. I never could have imagined how this little person has changed my life forever. She is an amazing student and extremely talented with the flute. While I can’t take credit for her musical talents I would like to think I have had something to do with her love for school. Over the weekend my girl celebrated her birthday at home with a few of her friends and of course her little sisters. Words can not describe how much I love hearing a house full of children with all the giggles that come along with it.
My girls are the reason why I am called mom ♥ Happy Birthday to my beautiful teenager!!!!
Miss Carley | Healdsburg Child Photographer
August 27, 2011Miss Carley was my little model as I did some location scouting up in Healsburg, Ca. Isn’t she gorgeous? We had a ton of fun exploring a couple bridges and went on a long walk along the RR tracks. The heat was a bit of a bare but the adventure was so worth it.
Next time though I will need to remember the number 1 rule when exploring, must bring water =)
Brothers and Sisters | Santa Rosa Family Photographer
August 19, 2011Being a big sister myself to my one and only brother I can totally relate to the special bond a brother and sister have with one another. I have been photographing this beautiful family for the last 3 years and I love seeing the change from year to year, watching these two adorable little ones grow up.
This year we decided to do something a little different since mom’s brother was in town visiting and met at Luther Burbank Gardens near downtown Santa Rosa for a brother sister shoot. It was a ton of fun and these two little one’s were having so much playing especially with Uncle =)

August 14, 2011I have had the pleasure of watching this handsome little guy grow up and photograph him for several years now. Earlier this week I met up with him and his mom at the Sonoma County Fair here in Santa Rosa. All the bright colors made for a super fun backdrop and I couldn’t help but to be very excited to have Kail’s birthday session there. Here are a few of my favorites.

July 9, 2011My precious girl just celebrated her birthday a few days ago so as a special treat we headed over to Guigni’s Deli in St. Helena for lunch and then to Napa for some treats at Butter Cream Bakery. Both of these places were favorites of mine growing up and now its become an annual tradition to head over to the Napa Valley once a year. After lunch my girls and headed out to a few of my favorite spots in St. Helena for some birthday photos.
Just the night before her birthday, my girl lost her first upper tooth and looks absolutely adorable. At the moment her nickname is the toothless wonder and I can’t help but to get a huge grin on my face every time she smiles. She happened to come into the office as I was reviewing her birthday photos and this is the one she says is her favorite ♥ I love how it shows her little missing tooth!

November 9, 2010Its always exciting when I get to work with a family again and seeing how much the kids have grown from the previous year. I couple weeks ago I met up with this family for a mini session down in the Fountain Grove area of Santa Rosa. This was a neat new location and a bit of a treasure filled with lots of fall leaves, mossy covered rocks, a creak and lots of poison oak. Luckily after trekking through for several hours no one got it and its definitely a place I’d like to visit again.
I love the special bond these two share and how well it shows in these photos.

November 8, 2010I know its a tad late but I am finally getting a chance to update this blog with photos from one of my favorite girls to photograph. I’m sure you all recognize miss Trianna as she is frequently in front of my camera.
This year for her back-to-school photos we headed down to Railroad Square in Santa Rosa which happens to be one of my favorite urban settings to shoot. Her mom went all out and bought this most adorable outfit which IMHO is just so her ♥
In the parking lot in front of the visitor center there was this really neat bug so we asked the guy if we could borrow it for Trianna’s session. Luckily the guy was super nice and didn’t mind at all. I absolutely love this photo.

November 8, 2010I just can’t get over how big my babies are getting. I swear kids just grow up way too fast!!! I’m finally getting a chance to share a few photos from a session I did last month down at Railroad Square in Santa Rosa with my own girls. This is something I look forward to doing around their birthdays which lucky for me allows for sessions 3 times a year and its so neat seeing how much they have changed from the year before. Considering I am photographer you would think my walls are filled with recent photos of my own girls but sadly photos get taken and never printed. This year however I couldn’t resist and finally I have updated/recent photos hanging on my walls.
My oldest started Jr High/Middle school this year. Already I can see she is loosing that little girl look and is becoming a teenager.
*sniff sniff* She is looking so grown up
I just love this shot of my youngest. Its a face she makes all the time but this was the first time I have been lucky enough to capture it.
I can’t help but to smile every time I see this.
