Just 5 days into the new year a precious little boy was welcomed into this world. Being the 3rd child, his parents wanted to wait till his birth to find out if they were welcoming another boy or another girl. I am  am extremely honored to be able to share his special birthday, which happens to be the same as my dad, with his family and friends.

Yesterday they gave me the honor to witness and photograph my very first birth as they brought a brand new baby boy into this world. awww =) I have the greatest friends.

Before I went to bed the night before I had no idea I was going to witness the awesome miracle of life. I woke up to the wonderful surprise that my friend Nicole was in labor. We had talked about it soon after she found out that she was pregnant that I could come when it came time for her to give birth but honestly I never really knew for sure if that was going to happen because I have 3 kiddos myself and a hubby who works crazy hours. Despite it all, the timing was perfect and I arrive just minutes before this little guy said hello to this world.
