Today the beautiful Miss Desa is celebrating her 21st birthday. I little over a month ago Desa contacted me to inquire about a boudoir session as a special gift for herself as a way to celebrate her birthday and remember her youth. What started as one session ultimately turned into three which lasted all day and was a ton of fun. Looking back now I wish this was something I would have thought to do myself when I was her age. I’m sure this will be something she can look back on for many years to come with fond memories.

Our first session was to show her softer more intimate side so we started with her boudoir photos in a studio style setting.

Our next session took us to my favorite creek for Marilyn Monroe inspired session with a touch of fashion and nature.

And finally we headed out to the Santa Rosa bunkers for the vixen, kick ass and urban style photos.

This by far is one of the funnest boudoir style sessions I have had the opportunity to work on. I am honored that Desa allowed me to share this special day with her and she was so open to new ideas. It was quite the adventure and I’d love to do something like this again.

Desa, I hope you have a fabulous birthday today. Thank you again for allowing me to share some of your amazing photos publicly on the blog. You were an absolute joy to work with and I have enjoyed getting to know you over the last couple months.

I have had the pleasure of working with this beautiful girl for 3 years now.  Luckily her parent’s like to find any excuse to get together for photos and Trianna is always a willing model when I have projects to work on.

Its been a super crazy month and I am a little (or a lot) back logged in my blog posts but I am nearly caught up woohoo!! Back in March we headed down to one of my favorite locations for Trianna’s birthday photos. Her oh so talented mom made this awesome denim tutu skirt especially for her session and then brought balloons to match.

The Carver Crew meets the California Spring time at its best. I had a great time meeting up with this family of 6 to get a photo for their website www.HansonOverhead.com

Its been a crazy couple of months but at last I am able to share Cathy & Bobby’s engagement session. I posted a sneak peek back in March with the fav from the day and I have been itching to share the rest.

I am very lucky to have such an amazing couple who were willing to go anywhere for their session. It had been raining for weeks on end so finding a time to schedule a time to get together kept on getting postponed. As I left Santa Rosa the clouds were looking very gloomy and didn’t know what to expect in Petaluma. Despite the clouds the sun came out to play as we wondering through downtown Petaluma and by the time we made our way to the riverfront the gloomy clouds were back but by this time I was loving them.

Only 14 short weeks until their wedding day. These are a few of my favorites from our session. Go check out the BLP Facebook page for more of my favs.
