Today I found out that Beyond Snapshots is giving away the oh so awesome Red Lola Epiphanie Camera Bag. I have been dreaming of this bag since the first time I saw it and would love to win one.

As you all know red is one of my favorite colors and it happens to show up in work quite often so picking a photo that speaks red was not an easy task. After a lengthy search this is the photo that most speaks RED to me and is the one chosen to enter into the contest.

Be sure to visit Beyond Snapshots and Epiphanie and of course the beautiful Lola bag.

Recently I met up with Safiya and her family who traveled all the way from Santa Cruz for our Celebrating Adoption Session. With all the rain we had been having here in the North Bay scheduling our session has been tricky. Luckily the rain decided to give way the day before we were to get together. The recent rains really got the creek roaring here in Santa Rosa and was absolutely beautiful. I had a wonderful time meeting with Safiya and her family.

This is the 3rd Celebrating Adoption Session I have done and I am so proud to say that I am a member of this organization. I encourage you to visit the website for more information by clicking the banner below if you or anyone you know is interested in a Celebrating Adoption Session.

2010 Spring Sale: Book Now

Today I had a great time with Cathy and Bobby for their engagement session down in Petaluma. When we left Santa Rosa the skies where looking pretty gloomy but I have to say that by the end of our session I am really loving them. After downloading the photos I just couldn’t resist the urge to share one photo for Cathy and Bobby. I thought it was cute when Bobby saw this photo in particular his first reply was “Sweet!” I am really looking forward to their wedding in Aug.

Thanks again for a fun afternoon!!! I can’t wait to show more.

Today’s session was down at my new favorite location in Santa Rosa. This is just a mini sneak peek preview since I really should be sleeping but I just had to share two of my favorites from today. I have been wanting to return to this creek since the shoot for Mossy Oak Lane so it was a pleasure to come back with my favorite client for her birthday session.

After a bunch of hoping and running around the creek and paths she was so done. I bet it was quite a site to see with her laying down on this rock by the creek and with me laying down across two rocks trying not to fall in the water this time LOL

Mom and Dad’s favorite from today

It seems all my little babies are growing up. Where does the time go? A year ago in Jan was my first session with this beautiful little girl and look at her now. She is walking everywhere and reminds me so much of her big brother at this age.

In early Dec we met at one of her favorite parks for her first birthday session. The weather was perfect and so gorgeous out.

And what little girl doesn’t love to wear her momma’s sun glasses. She was having so much fun trying them on and showing off to her mommma :)

Oh and I love these. She is such a little doll just cracking up at the sillies things. You can see it in her sweet little expressions how happy she is and totally oblivious to the leaf stuck to her leg.

Finally I am catching up on the last few sessions of 2009. Mid Dec I met up with my friend Z just a couple weeks before she gave birth to her two precious baby girls. She was up for just about anything so we got a chance to explore several new places in Santa Rosa which makes for a bit of a preview blog overload. Luckily it wasn’t raining and the lighting was fantastic :) I think I might start loving overcast skies.

I just gotta start with my absolute favorite. How cute is she? I couldn’t help but to notice and make use of the little sign next to the tracks.

For our session we started next to one of the mural fences here in Santa Rosa. I have been wanting to come down and use these for sometime now and I was so please that her choice of clothing for her session seemed to match so perfectly.

I love these. For the next set we made our way down to a private vacant lot near by. I had no idea this wooded area was here and luckily we were able to take advantage of the natural beauty before the “No Trespassing” signs were posted. It was such a perfect location for her too.

Now keep in mind this session was back in mid Dec in between our many bouts of rain. Z was a trooper though and was even willing to bare it all in the cold for her photos.

At the end of our session the babies decided to finally wake up. It was so cute to watch Z play with the babies as the wiggled around.

Z thanks for the fun afternoon and exploring with me.

Now that Sally’s and Eva’s senior sessions have been done these two best friends wanted to have a special session with just the two of them. The sun was starting to go down so we just had fun and the girls goofed around as two best friends naturally would do. I love it how they both had matching shirts. Aw the carefree days of a high school teenager :)

Another long over due blog post here, this time for Eva who happens to be Sally’s BFF. For her session we got to check out a new location which I happen to think is way cool. Sadly now there are now “No Trespassing” signs posted everywhere but I am glad we got to check it out while we still had a chance. I had a great time meeting up with Eva for her senior session.

I have been so anxious to share these but have held off for a couple weeks until I was able to share a link back to the fabulous Miss Things Boutique. Its been raining like crazy this winter season so we have had a hard time planning a session to get out and photograph these adorable pettiskirt dresses but we managed to get a tiny break a few weeks ago. These are part of the new Punk Line over at Miss Things Boutique. Seriously how cute are these?!?!
