Just a tiny little peanut and my first session with a preemie. This little guy was the sweetest ever and his parents were such a pleasure to work with. I love all the tiny little details captured during this session ♥

January 19, 2010Another baby on the way | Santa Rosa Maternity Photographer
January 17, 2010Aw I have been looking forward to posting this recent maternity session but due to the craziness around here the blog post has been a bit delayed. We got together just before the holidays for a special in home session. Today as this little one is officially due so I anxiously await word that she has arrived. I love my job!!!
This shot by far is my favorite. Big sister is so excited about baby coming and it didn’t take much convincing to get her to give baby loves.

I remember when I finished this session I thought to myself, “I wonder if I got anything wow worthy” I am my own worst critic which sometimes means I have been know to leave a session wondering if I captured what I set out to do. I will be honest and say that I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got a chance to look through the session photos and found myself in love with so many.
First Newborn in 2010 | Santa Rosa Newborn Photographer
January 10, 20102010 is already off to a wonderful beginning. Just 5 days into the new year a precious little boy was welcomed into this world. Being the 3rd child, his parents wanted to wait till his birth to find out if they were welcoming another boy or another girl. I am am extremely honored to be able to share his special birthday, which happens to be the same as my dad, with his family and friends.

January 4, 2010Shona {Class of 2010} | Forestville Senior Portrait Photographer
January 3, 2010Finally got a chance to have a senior portrait session over at Railroad Square in Santa Rosa. I love the urban funkiness of that area with all the brick and stone work of the old buildings. So much character and I’m always finding neat little areas every time I go down there. I had a wonderful afternoon with Shona and her mom as we hopped around RRSq. These cloudy/rainy days can be somewhat unpredictable this time of year but we got lucky despite being a tab bit cold.
Little snowman on the run | Santa Rosa Toddler Photographer
January 2, 2010Who ever said a snowman can’t move? LOL This little guy was fast and oh so adorable. His mom had warned me before his session to be prepared for one quick moving toddler. I met up with this little guy and his parents just before sunset and wow the light was amazing. There is a location I have been wanting to use for a session which turned out to be so perfect for him. I love his little sweater vest too. So so cute, just like him.
