Asleep On the Job

May 31, 2009

With the school year coming close to an end these past two weeks have been super busy with all the school activities, concerts and other random family fun time. This Saturday the girls and I went to a birthday party for a friend of ours and Shelsea totally wore herself out at the park. On the way home she fell asleep while eating her bag of Cheetos so here she is knocked out with cheesy lips and her hand still in the bag LOL

On those days that I think my life is tough and I just want to take a vacation I have to stop and remind myself to appreciate little moments like these because they sure grow up fast.

Mid next week marks the end of the school year and the end of the 5th grade. My oldest has done so good this year and I am so proud. She seems to be down in the dumps these past couple of weeks. Not sure exactly why but to help boost her spirits we headed out for a little photo session just for her. She was so happy to be the “super star” for the day which I thought was just beyond adorable.

Looking at the photos now I just can’t get over how much she looks just like her daddy and how much she has grown. My little girl so slowly becoming a teen.

and of course one last pic with her flute before she has to return it back to the school for the summer

There is still time to get something for that special dad in your life.

Don’t forget about my spring specials’ they are definitely money well spent. If you don’t want to get your session before June 30th order one of these specials as a gift certificate and you can use it any time before the end of the summer. Now how cool is that?

Meet baby Jackson. I had a chance to photograph this precious little guy yesterday. He was not much of a fan of the camera but loved the lamb skin. I think he looks like a little angel. All he is missing are the wings =)

Here is a little preview for mom and family. Thank you for letting me play with your little guy yesterday.

I absolutely love it when I get a chance to have an outdoor newborn session which is almost equally exciting as checking out a new location. Our session took place at what has become my new favorite location, the Sonoma Horticultural Nursery.

Baby Lana is just 7 weeks old and I know her parents are anxiously awaiting to see a preview of thier session.

Already it was clear to see the special bond between daddy and his baby girl. One day daddy will look back and remember how tiny his precious girl used to be.

The secret garden

As snug as a lady bug

This bumble bee set is something my mom made for me on mother’s day.

This last Monday I had the pleasure of meeting Jared for my first model session. I have never done anything like this before so I was feeling out of my comfort zone. Still it was a lot of fun and am looking forward to our next session tomorrow.

I love my job!!!

I’m so sorry I have been away for so long. Its been so heckic these past couple of weeks. The entire family came down with a stomach bug. I am so glad we have a house with 3 bathrooms. It was just barely enough to handle this family of 5.

Last weekend my oldest daughter was in the 115th annual Rose Parade here in Santa Rosa. She played her flute in the front row with her school band. Needless to say I was one very proud momma.

This Monday I was back to work as usual. I took a trip down to the Sonoma Horticultural Nursery and that place is just incredible. I don’t know how I could have lived her for 4 years and never have know about this little treasure. If you have never visited this gorgeous garden before its a must see. I was surprise how lovely the temp was in the gardens while it was blazing hot everywhere else. It has a climate all its own.

Now its time to catch up on filling orders and editing photos.  I will be posting pics soon for all to see. I hope you all are having a lovely day.

Beautiful Kaylynn

May 18, 2009

This last thursday I met up with this little beauty and her parents for an afternoon session at one of my favorite parks. We had a ton of fun and it didn’t take long for this little one to warm up and come site on my lap. She is such a sweet heart.

Her daddy insisted on adding this twig as her hair accessory LOL Momma was a bit irritated, daddy loved it and Kaylynn could care less.

In just a few weeks she will be turning two so momma requested a photo in her special birthday t-shirt

Isn’t this the cutest pouty face?

First of all I wanted to say thank you to everyone who voted for these adorable kids. I think I had as much fun as you all did watching the poll as the votes came in.

Happy Mother’s Day

May 10, 2009

I wanted to wish all the fabulous mother’s out there a very happy mother’s day. I hope you all are are to do something special with your children.

These 3 precious girls are the reason I am called “momma” I can’t imagine my life without them. These girls of mine keep me on my toes every day and remind me of the important things in life.

I tried so hard to get a photo with my girls but they have officially become sick of the camera. Hum I wonder why LOL Still I love this photo. It shows their personality exactly how they are every day. Luckily we got a nice shot considering I only had a chance to hit the timer twice on the camera before these girls ran off to play in the mud.

Don’t forget there are just two more days to get those votes in for the Fabulous Faces Contest.
