Just over a week ago I had the pleasure to head out to a fun secret spot for some Mini Sessions in a field of California Poppies and wild flowers. I had a great time with all the kids and parents. The was weather was perfect.

First up was Brianna with her little sister Rylee and her momma.

This morning Becka Lynn Photography officially got a facelift. It has been a long time coming and I am hoping the new design will allow for easier navigation, new galleries and best of all, your shopping cart is saved even if you exit.

Still to come are the wedding galleries and the boutique so check back soon.

Catching up on a few more sessions from last week. On Sunday I took a trip out to Fred Stokes Ranch in Santa Rosa/Windsor, Ca in Sonoma County. Its been a year since I have been there and still is a favorite. This time I got a chance to meet Mr. Stokes himself :)

If you have not had a chance to visit stokes ranch you really should. His has the largest oil can collection, lots of neat old cars and tractors and even an old station that was abadoned that moved to his property and restored. This is always a neat place to visit and we had a lot of fun.

Last sunday I took another trip down to the Marin Headlands, this time for Joe and Mary’s engagement session. We had so much fun, I don’t think I have laughed so hard or had so much fun.

Our session started at my favorite bunker and ended at the beach. It doesn’t get any better then that.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit one of my favorite places to have a photo shoot. This family actually used to go here often when they were dating so it was a perfect location for their first family photos. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly…okay it was down right cold and we all were freezing so we plan on going back in a few months once it warms up.

This little guy has a thing for flowers. By the end of our session his beloved flower broke.

Just Hanging Around

Last weekend I had the most amazing engagement session down at the Marin Headlands. We took some shots up at the fort ruins and finished up at the beach. My friend Wendy took this shot while I was taking pics of the couple who were sitting at the other end of this makeshift seesaw. We were all laughing non stop. It was a great day!!!

I am so far behind in my blogging its really sad :( With the recent death back home and then getting so busy with sessions last month I have been neglecting my blog. I promise to catch up though because I sure have been busy and having fun this last month. The wild flowers are starting to bloom like crazy. Sonoma County is so beautiful in the spring time, I can’t image living anywhere else.

Last week I stumbled upon the coolest hill covered with orange california poppy flowers. I am so used to seeing these along the side of the freeway and never in a location where we could go run and play in them. Luckily I had my camera with me, when do i not LOL, and took a few pics of my girls before heading out to run more arrands.
