I went to a brand new location yesterday and just loved it. I had such a wonderful time with this family in a beautiful walnut grove in Kenwood. Once again the fall colors are amazing and this grove is something that I know I will visit time and time again.

Now its time to show a few pics of one of my favorite little guys. He couldn’t help but to run non stop in the leaves. Unlike his adorable sister who sat so sweetly for me this little guy gave me quiet the work out.
For a split second he decided to sit and pose for me. How cute is that?
This was soon followed by an oh so fun roll in the leaves.
Recently I had my 4th session this year with a friend of mine and her family. We took a small hike to the upper pond at Foothill Regional Park which surprisingly turned into quite the workout. As always we had a lot of fun and this little K hand me giggling.

I can’t believe this precious little angel is 6 months old already. I just doesn’t seem like it has been that long since I took her mommy’s maternity photos. This is my favorite photo from our preview mini session.
I just love this time of year. The leaves are changing and everywhere I look there are the beautiful fall colors. I think my favorite change is seeing the vineyards change from green to yellow and then to an awesome shade of burgundy. I can not express how much I love driving around town just so I can see all the awesome colors.
I grew up seeing the vineyards from the road but never have I had a chance to walk through the actual vineyards themselves. That alone was such an awesome experience. I never knew that the vines can be so high. Recently I had a session in the heart of the wine country. Just at the end of this family’s driveway are some of the most beautiful and colorful vineyards so we took a stroll with their dog to take some family portraits.
Little M has the sweetest smile. Seeing the special bond she has with her daddy I can not help but to think of my daughters.
C was having a grand time playing in a pile of black rubble which is was is left of a recently paved road.
As the sun started to set there was this awesome yellow glow. I love this time of day.

I put up my WAMU display today at the Bennett Valley Branch. Its very exciting and I am pleased to say that the staff loved it and even extended my time to the end of the month. I have been working on it non stop for the past couple of days so its really exciting to see the finished product. I am a bit of a perfectionist so it took me so much longer than I had planned. Still I am really happy how my sign came out that I wanted to share with you all.

Back ’95 a friend of mine introduced me to one of his favorite bands at the time named Human Drama. The very first song I ever heard was Called Tangled Web and I was in love. From that day on I followed Human Drama, dragging my now husband with me to every concert we could get to within 2 hours of where we lived for 2 years. He was a sport and went with me though I knew after a while he was so over it.
Human Drama has since moved on but to this day I still follow the work of the band’s soul and front man Johnny Indovina. He is now front man of Sound of the Blue Heart and one of the nicest guys I have ever met.
The music on my photography site now is that of johnny Indovina, used with his permission. When I heard he was going to be in town a few weeks ago performing with John Trudell I knew I had to see him and asked if we could meet up for a session. Johnny was so kind to make time for me and we got together after his performance in Mill Valley. Needless to say I was extremely excited.
Because time was limited our session was outside in the dark lite only by the street lamps. Still it was fun and I wanted to share some of my favorite shots from that night.

Today’s historic election day was an exciting one. While my husband was inside placing his vote I waited outside with my girls and just couldn’t help myself but to take a couple photos of my youngest hamming it up for the camera. It seems lately any time I try and get a photo she runs away from me like i have the plague LOL
Her big sister picked a lovely flower for her baby sister who thought it was the funniest thing to make her silly faces.
Yes I know halloween is over but I love dressing her up when I can. Today she sported her new lady bug shirt with her favorite pink fairy wings and black tutu. Yup she has a style all her own already.
Oh goodness I love her goofy faces…
