My three models and willing test subjests

For several months now I have been filling my wish lists with various lenses that I would love to add to my collection. I have always believed that having good glass will make a photo better before having the newest and best camera on the market. So last week I bit the bullet and bought the lens I have been drooling over for months. I knew I was going to love it before I even got it and so far it has not let me down. In fact it has exceeded my expectations.

This past week I had a chance to take it out and see what I can do while playing with various filters and lighting conditions. My girls and I had a lot of fun. Here are my 3 favorites that I couldn’t help but to want to share.

New Profile Photo

I am not the kind of person who likes to be in front of the camera. Actually I hate it and I always think I look horrible. I guess that is why being behind the camera is my favorite place to be. But that said there have been a few rare times that I have gotten an awesome photo taken and the last two times I was in front of the camera on purpose the photo came out awesome because my oh so talented BF Maribel took the photos.

On wed I got my hair done finally. I have been waiting to get it “fixed” so I could get a new profile photo taken. So today I managed to grab Maribel to take my photo and wow I am in love. She took photos of me when I was pregnant for my thank you cards which came out so awesome. I knew without a doubt she would be able to take another awesome photo which she did today and again she blew me away. It was so hard to pick a favorite but with several to choose from I can now switch things up a bit to suit my fancy.

This is the one I picked to upload to the site today. I love this photo so much. Thanks again Mari. You rock!!!!
