Age is just a number

April 30, 2008

On Monday I had a lovely time photographing my fellow Waccovian Sara S who needed a photo for her 50th high school reunion website. She is one of the sweetest and most interesting person I have met in a long time. Sara is just glowing in her photos don’t you think? I hope I look half as radiant as she does when I am her age.

When time stands still

Tonight I was going through some photos from a previous session and came across one that I just love :) It is not often this brother and sister get a chance to take a photo together which is so easy to forget when you are running after the kids trying to take their photo.

Here are a few of my favorites from Maribel’s maternity sessions.
Over the past couple months we worked on a series of sessions at several locations. We both had so many ideas and ended up so many favorite photos its going to be hard to choose which ones to frame. Maribel is due any day now and we anxiously await the arrival of her precious baby girl.

Our name has changed

Wild Rose Photography has a new name! It was been a difficult decision but in the end I know its the right choice to create Becka Lynn Photography to follow in her big sister’s footsteps. These past few months I have found both my design and photography businesses crossing each others paths quite often so it seemed fitting to combine the two while still keeping them separate.

As you look through previous posts in this blog you will see the images will have the old logo. I didn’t want to remove them as they show my previous work which I proudly want to share. :) This marks the beginning to another new adventure and I hope you will join me for the ride.

I can’t believe it was just a month ago I was taking maternity photo’s of this little angel’s mommy. Ruby already has two older brothers who absolutely adore her and I am sure going going to be the best big brothers any little girl could ever ask for. She is just two weeks old and already is a precious little doll. She makes me wanna have another :)
